Now, look at other people’s feet. What do you see?

Feet positioning, more than anything else, tells you about your interlocutor’s interest level. It’s very simple:

  • Feet positionned towards you (or someone in your group) = Good
  • Feet facing away = Bad

Don’t waste time talking to people already thinking about their next discussion, they’ll remember very little. Start noticing how feet are positionned, you’ll become a much more focused networker.
