Respect your biology
In search of productivity and aligning with the 9 to 5 norm, we often confuse 8 hours of work fighting sleep with 8 hours of productive work.
Maybe you were unable to sleep last night or, you just don’t work well in the morning… That’s ok but, instead of feeling bad and suffering regular hours maybe it’s time you realize that we all have different biological rhythms and sleeping patterns.
Forget that waking up early nonsense; work hours are all equal.
If anything, I’ve come to realize that sometimes it’s best to sleep an extra hour and be productive than sleep less and do nothing all day… Showing up for work is rarely enough.
