Columbus was considered crazy until he discovered America, Einstein was seen as a failure in his early career, Galileo was put to house arrest for championing the idea that the sun was the center of the universe.
Breaking out is hard. Everything about the system strengthens the norm and realigns you with confirmity. Maybe you won’t change the world (maybe you will) but, to take a chance to break out is to embark on a lonely path.
If, for no other reason, this is why you need partners. Your family, friends and network may not believe in your crazy ideas but, having a partner that gets your vision helps you stay on path.
Don’t ask for permission to pursue your ambition and change the world. Don’t wait for someone to hold your hand; no one else knows what you’re really capable of and, even if they did, there’s only one way you can find out…
